Logistics Coordinator Job Vacancy in Afghanistan

Country: AFGHANISTAN - Kabul
Length of Contract: 1 year

To manage the functioning of the logistics department To ensure that the logistic department provides continuous and efficient support to the programs at national level Capacity building of the national Logistics team Train the teams in implementation of Kit Log V3.1 Identify and train suitable persons to assume senior logistic functions within the Logistics Team

Security Management
Provide support to the Country Director (CD) on context analysis Responsible for day to day operational security measures with support from CD To update all the SOP and other security tools in collaboration with each Provincial Field Managers Capacity building of the Provincial Field Managers on security analysis and information collection To manage security issues in the absence of CD

Donor Filing, Reporting and Proposals
To ensure that all the donor requirements/procedures are followed in an accurate, timely and complete manner To ensure that all the filing is complete and up to date To provide all the information on logistics for donor reports and to ensure that they are complete and are on time To provide all the information on logistics for donor proposals and to ensure that they are complete and are on time

Capitalisation and adaptation of logistics tools
To capitalise all information for logistics means in Afghanistan To improve current tools used by the logistic department To develop new tools of management and control for the logistic department

Public relation (in collaboration with CD)
Represent the organization externally towards humanitarian actors, authorities, donors, other key actors and beneficiaries Co-ordinate with humanitarian actors and authorities

Qualification and previous experience:
Bachelor degree with a professional experience in logistics on the field
– preferably with ACF Team spirit and good communication qualities
- High sense of diplomacy with authorities and staff Good general knowledge in IT, mechanic, radio & satellite communications

English Status: Employee
- Fixed-term contract, provided by ACF according to the French labour law.
- Total average yearly gross income: from 41160 € to 47160 €
- Food and housing: 1000 € / month average o Per Diem : 210 € / month average o Support to the R & R costs : 110 € / month average o Transportation costs to and from the mission : 460 € / month average o Monthly gross salary ranging from 1650 € to 2150 € (Net: from 1518 € to 1978 €) depending on relevant experience (possibility to increase up to 2750 € gross (2530 € net) according to seniority and performances)
- 25 days of annual paid leaves
- 20 days of R & R per year (taken as recovery time breaks of one week every 2 or 4 months depending on the mission)

- Accompanied position (partner, children) according to the place of assignment
