Getting Things Done

The secret of getting ahead is getting started – Zig Ziglar

In getting things done, all you need is taking an action. You don’t have to feel like doing it, all you need is to do it and you will feel like doing it.

Most of the time we complain of not being able to do some things because we don’t feel like doing it or creating an alibi either having a coronary of migraine. This is usually the case with doing thing we should do but we don’t want to do it; so we simple say, “I just don’t feel like it”.

There is always a conflict between doing our own chores and chores we don’t want to do. But in most times we don’t have to trust our feelings. For instance, if you have a boss who will frown or query you for not doing that same job, you will find out that even if you don’t feel like, you just try to do it and begin to feel better after you get into action and the more action you took, the better you feel and you just go all out.

The message is simple; This secret of getting things done is to take action even if you don’t feel like.
